NORWALK — Before securing a position at a Charkit, a chemical company in SoNo, Artie St. Armand spent most of his days watching television.

He’d held a few odd jobs before the chemical company, cleaning tables at a local beach club and occasionally working on a housekeeping team at Star Inc.
